We are seeking a detail-oriented and eager-to-learn Web Operations Assistant to join our growing digital marketing team. This entry-level position is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career professional looking to build a strong foundation in web development, specifically within the WordPress ecosystem. You will play a pivotal role in updating and maintaining WordPress websites, assisting in implementing new features and front-end design tasks. This is a fantastic opportunity to collaborate with designers, content creators, and senior developers, gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:

Update and maintain existing WordPress websites, ensuring optimal performance and user experience.
Implement new features and plugins to enhance website functionality.
Troubleshoot and resolve bugs and technical issues related to website functionality or performance.
Assist with front-end design tasks, collaborating with web designers to ensure visual assets align with site functionality and user experience.
Perform routine tasks such as site backups, optimizing website performance, and ensuring security best practices are followed.
Work closely with content creators and senior developers to ensure websites are visually appealing, user-friendly, and functional.
Stay informed about WordPress updates, security best practices, and industry trends.
Contribute creative ideas and concepts to enhance website aesthetics and user experience.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Graphic Design, or a related field.

1-2 years experience working with WordPress or other CMS platforms.
Solid understanding of WordPress plugins and themes.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and a willingness to learn new tools and technologies.
Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality and visually appealing websites.

What will make you stand out?

Hands-on experience in designing & maintaining WordPress websites
Familiarity with UI/UX principles to contribute to continuous improvement towards intuitive and engaging user experiences
Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop/Canva for basic image editing and optimization
Foundational knowledge of HTML, CSS, and PHP
Experience with LMS platforms.
Familiarity with debugging tools and version-control systems is a plus.
Experience with leading page builders (e.g., Elementor, Gutenberg).
Knowledge of SEO best practices for website optimization.
