As an intake coordinator, you will be responsible for managing new client intakes, facilitating document collection, and assisting with insurance verification and authorizations. Regular communication with families and maintaining accurate records are essential aspects of this role.Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct new client intake calls with professionalism and sensitivity
  • Follow up with clients and families to collect required documentation in a timely and courteous manner
  • Assist in verifying insurance coverage and obtaining necessary authorizations for services
  • Maintain ongoing contact with clients and their families, providing updates and receiving schedule changes as needed
  • Ensure accurate documentation and strict confidentiality of client records
Requirements
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills in dynamic environments
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities, with a customer service mindset
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and office management software is advantageous
  • Experience with insurance verification and authorization processes a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt quickly, and maintain composure under pressure
Schedule: Monday through Friday 9AM to 6PMBenefits
